I have enjoyed being a professional counselor for over 20 years . I specialize in Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, EMDR, Intuitive Art Therapy, and energy healing such as Reiki. I use a multi-modal approach for working with a variety of mental health conditions and relationship issues. I have extensive experience in the field of mental health, including private practice, primary care behavioral health, public schools, and residential treatment. I have clients that come to therapy for a wide range of issues. Most often, client goals begin with relief from pain, sadness, guilt, shame, confusion, addiction and many other symptoms related to distress. I have found that many clients who seek therapy are surprised to learn how past and present are related and how someone can influence future through choice, meaning, and intentional use of personal strengths. I offer traditional "talk therapy" as well as Brainspotting, which is a bottom-up approach to treating trauma, performance anxiety, and other concerns.
