Having worked extensively with ethnically- and gender- diverse populations, I especially enjoy helping young adults explore their sense of identity and find meaningful roles in their communities.

We will take our time to reflect on your experiences with self-worth, overthinking, and/or grief to reveal helpful elements that have may gone unnoticed in your story so far -qualities and strengths you can apply in order to take that next step. Asking for help can be one of the most difficult and even scariest thing for you to do. But therapy doesn't have to be so daunting nor does it have to take years for you to feel better. The therapy space should feel safe and empowering in order for you to be able to share, to learn, to consider a different perspective, to gain insight, to process your experiences, to start healing your emotional wounds, and to grow. Childcare is provided during your session. Bring the kids to spend time at our Kid's Room, while you get treatment from our therapists. All of our therapists hold a minimum of a master's degree in a psychology-related field that qualifies them with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) to provide counseling/therapy in California. Sessions are available in-person as well as online via telehealth. We are accepting new clients now and can get you an appointment within 2-3 days. Open every day apart from Sundays, from 10:30 AM to late evening.

Family Time centers are community hubs where everyone can get the help or support they need. They can tap into community resources, learn new parenting skills, and/or get individualized support. We provide a location where challenges can be explored and personal relationships can be strengthened. If you or someone in your family is struggling, we have expert therapists who can help a parent or a child receive the counseling they need. We provide an inclusive location that is welcoming, handicap accessible, and reflective of the core values of healing your inner self.

Seeking for emotional support can be intimidating. It may especially be difficult if you are coming from a culture where addressing mental illness is still stigmatized and can be perceived as “bringing shame to the family”. As a Filipino American, I want to help transform the view of psychotherapy in my community (as well as in other communities).
