At the DBT Center of Orange County, our goal is to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment to help you resolve thoughts and behaviors that hamper you from Building Your Best Possible Life! Through the fastest-growing and evidence-based model of DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) that includes CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) techniques, the development of healthy behaviors and establishment of new coping skills are taught and practiced. The main modules of DBT are Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance.

I am dedicated to working myself out of a job from the first session. I think people don't need to spend years finding out how they got toilet trained to change or adapt. I specialize with people with short or long term recovery as well as grief, loss, process addiction, anxeity, and depression. I work with complex dual diagnosis issues (with psych testing) and have a long history of teaching, lecturing in hospitals and mental health units and training other therapist. I offer many outside resources as an adjunct to therapy. I also offer books and CD's at no extra charge to assist in resolution outside the office.
