I work with clients to establish goals, reduce symptoms and find more joy in their life. Therapy can include building insight, addressing concerns, developing coping skills and improving self-acceptance. Therapy with me typically includes tools to use in between sessions.

I am a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW) in Florida, Colorado and Virginia, an empathetic healer, an avid mental health awareness advocate. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, codependency issues, self-esteem issues, anger management issues and other emotional struggles. My passion as a therapist is to assist you in developing skills to help you find the happiness and abundance from within. I strive to create a safe space where you can feel comfortable in sharing your perspectives, hopes, aspirations, fears, and growths.

I enjoy working with neurospicy/neurosparkly people, queer people, chronically ill people, and people who simply are ready to dive into what it means to be a human in this world. I believe in the interconnectedness of the body, the mind, and the spirit and will bring it all into our sessions if that is what calls to you. I don't believe in pushing people to disclose if they don't want to. I work within a framework of consent and open-heartedness at all times. I believe we are here to discover, learn, and experience as much as possible in this short journey. As a seasoned and experienced Counselor, I take a holistic (comprehensive) approach in psychotherapy focusing on all parts of a person which includes the emotional, social, biological, environmental, spiritual/philosophical (meaning and purpose), and psychological components that make us whole. And if you are in need of psychiatric medications, I work with a Psychiatrist in the area and you will have access to this service.

Starting the healing process is challenging and takes courage. Within all of us is a drive or desire to become whole, happy and connected to our self and our world. I see the importance of integrating all parts and aspects of our Self and becoming more whole and complete human beings. My particular interests and specialties tend to fall within women’s issues, trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, addiction and relationship Issues.
