My use of the phrase “Top of the Morning” greeting began in my days in the operating rooms of the Houston Medical Center some twenty years ago. It was a break away from the traditional greetings. This gave birth to the idea we can begin every day over if we are willing to change. "Top of the Morning" greets you with a sense of hope. I have worked in a psychological research lab, clinical neuropsychology practice, dual diagnosis treatment centers, a behavioral health hospital and private practice. Additionally, I studied women’s spirituality and healing through ancient traditions and rituals for 4 years.

I have yet to meet anyone whose life experience has been wholly devoid of struggle. It seems to be part of the human condition. Although relative, these struggles are something we are all faced with from time to time throughout our lives. In my experience, therapy provides us with the means to not only face and overcome these struggles, but also to find empowerment and purpose within what may have previously been only pain. My belief in the transformative gift one can experience through effective therapy was born during my own personal journey of healing and growth, and later solidified through my work with others.

You deserve to live a life that leaves you excited to wake up every morning. You deserve to overcome and persevere. You deserve a chance to heal and overcome obstacles that hinder you from your best self. My ideal patient is focused upon personal growth and healing while processing events and thoughts, even when others or self doesn't understand them. Utilizing therapy to build/establish trust to discuss difficult topics even where honesty is needed. I don't know what issue brought you here. I haven't met you. I'm not going to tell you what you need. I only know one thing about you: that you're here. So I will focus on that. The variations in our experience are so extraordinarily complex. I want to listen to yours, because that is where we can start. Then, I want us to work on your garden together, growing to seed the desires for your life that will blossom, even being enriched by the mud, if we nurture them with the right tools.

Welcome! My name is Nicole Iredale, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience. I work with clients ages 13 and up and specialize in adolescents, young adults, and adults of various backgrounds. My areas of focus include trauma, depression, stress, anxiety, mood disorders (e.g., Bipolar Disorder), working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and Borderline Personality Disorder. My preferred theoretical approaches include DBT, CBT, and trauma-informed therapy, with an eclectic use of techniques under this umbrella.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in business development for various tech companies in the United States and internationally. I have extensive training treating disorders during pregnancy and the postpartum period, as well. My style is collaborative and compassionate, as well as evidence based, meaning I use treatments that have been supported by research to show they are effective.
