A void that allowed black and brown people to be left to find sometimes inadequate ways of dealing with real mental health issues. As you search you will find very few people that look like me that are in profession of mental health. This is unfortunate. Although my caseload is hugely diverse, what comforts my clients is I represent what in my field is lacking...a representative from a disenfranchised group of people helping to build up the individual, repairing relationships and making families whole.

I have over 23 years of experience working with individuals and families to assist with mental health in community mental health providing counseling services. I am passionate about providing a therapeutic environment that is validating, caring, and non-judgmental and focus on positive change. I have over 10 years experience teaching DBT skills individually and in group setting. I have provided clinical supervision to assist individuals with getting LSCSW.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years providing support to adults and adolescents. I believe that each individual is the expert in their own growth, change or recovery and I am here to assist in this journey. I have extensive experience working with veterans and also provide couples counseling.

I'm a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in both MO and KS, Nationally Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and KS board-approved clinical supervisor. My heart work is helping humans with complex trauma. Couples, as well as parents and their children, work with me to form secure attachments with each other.
