Relationship TRAUMA? I primarily work with clients who have concerns of past childhood trauma, relationship trauma or religious trauma, which often cause struggles of depression, anxiety, toxic relationships, or relationship struggles, parenting problems, people pleasing, anger management difficulties, career challenges and adjusting to major life changes. I am SOGIE Affirmative and sex positive in my treatment. I am non-judgmental, direct, and empowering in my counseling style. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

I believe people can change, because I see it daily with my clients. I believe it because I lost over 130 pounds. My specialties include couples counseling, grief and loss, and trauma. I also have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. I know therapy can feel intimidating. Before becoming a therapist, I was a client and worked with a therapist on ways to improve my quality of life. This experience taught me what clients need. I know that the client/therapist relationship is the most important aspect of treatment. The better the relationship, the more healing that occurs.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in trauma work, stress management, education and regulation of mental health symptoms/diagnosis, chemical dependence, and development of healthy interpersonal relationships.
