He received a BS degree from the University of South Florida (USF) in social-behavioral sciences. He completed a master’s degree in social work at Florida International University. He has been practicing for 30 years. He specializes in co-occurring disorders of mental health, addictions treatment and relapse prevention. Additionally, he has expertise in dealing with cross-addiction, impulse control disorders, and job/employment guidance counseling.
