I greatly enjoy working with adults on issues including relationships, anger, communications, anxiety, stress coping, grief, substance abuse, parenting, and mild to moderate depression. In fact, while I was an 18/19-year-old college student, I saw a counselor at my college for anger and depression and it made an incredible, positive difference in my life. Now I have the privilege to provide caring, compassionate and confidential counseling to others. Evening and weekend appointments are available, in addition to some weekday daytime hours.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor my goal is to help you face these challenges and overcome them. I also am a Qualified SAP, (Substance Abuse Professional), by DOT, (Department of Transportation), and I understand how important these services are and I strive to get these completed quickly to get you back to work as soon as possible.

I have found adversity and peace in my lifetime, so I know struggles are real – but people can overcome! I became a counselor to help others do just that. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who have substance use and/or other mental health disorders (co-occurring disorders). I practice client centered and client driven counseling. I use a variety of approaches with emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also provide supervision to counselors in training to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and/or a Licensed Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC) in the state of Arkansas.
