About
Hello! I hold an LICSW in Vermont & Rhode Island. My practice focuses on supporting queer and trans/gender expansive communities. Affirming care recognizes the significant impact of sexual/gender minority stress and the intersectionality of systemic oppression on a person’s health and wellbeing. I have a broad range of experience working with children, youth, emerging adults, individuals, and family systems in a variety of treatment settings. I am passionate about working to improve lived experiences for historically marginalized communities who have persevered through legacies of systemic oppression and stacked disadvantages.
I practice from an eclectic and strengths-based approach, helping clients deepen their self-awareness and greater emotional resiliency in approaching their internal experiences with curiosity and compassion. I utilize a person-centered, intersectional, and trauma-informed framework across a variety of modalities to co-create a space of reprieve and comfort.
As a queer, gender expansive, neurodivergent, poverty survivor, and anti-racist clinician, I have witnessed the mental health challenges that can arise while existing in environments that do not affirm our identities. Getting started with a new practitioner can be challenging and can feel overwhelming. I foster a journey that is welcoming and nonjudgmental.
