Black man, you carry more than you show, and you've carried it alone long enough. I help Black men work through depression, anxiety, relationship strain, identity questions, and the everyday pressure of being everything to everyone. If you're stuck in your own head, tired of running the same loops, and feeling the gap between where you are and where you want to be, this is for you. I'll help you get honest, address what's been holding you back, and begin to move differently. As a therapist, my goal is to provide the care I'd want available to my father, my brother, myself. No performing, no code-switching, just Brother2Brother.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help men unlearn beliefs and ways of thinking that limit them. I'm a grad of Morehouse College and UCLA (PhD, clinical psychology). Black men are diverse, and I've worked with active duty military, veterans, clergy, college students, Q+ community, and men living with HIV/AIDS.
Black men deserve freedom, and I believe therapy can be the gateway to it. With nearly a decade of clinical experience, I bring a real understanding of what it means to carry the weight of being a Black man quietly, and not just clinical training.
