Announcement icon With COVID-19 changing our community I am offering telepsychology as an option to patients that need to remain home.
I have extensive experience working with adults as well as families of children and adolescents that exhibit emotional and behavioral concerns, including the treatment of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, academic underachievement, OCD, depression, interpersonal relationship issues, screen addiction, entitlement, low self-esteem, substance use disorders, Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD) as well as stress management for student athletes. I emphasize using evidence-based methods that have scientific backing and I engage in a collaborative process with my clients while respecting their values.
I am a Cognitive-Behavioral Psychologist with a Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology as well as a Master's degree in Counseling, both from Arizona State University. I am adjunct faculty at ASU where I instructed a graduate group counseling class. In addition to facilitating groups for children and adolescents I offer therapy for adults, children & teens.
Besides working with professional athletes I've coached my 4 children in soccer, football, and basketball. I believe parenting is the most important business in the world and one of the best things we can do for our children is improve our co-parenting relationship. Our ultimate responsibility as parents is to teach our children how the real world works.
