Timothy D Vermillion
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, DSW, LCSW
My clients find relief from sleep difficulties, post-traumatic stress, phobias, anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, and many other mental health concerns. Clients reduce their discomfort from past memories associated with their concerns while developing more adaptive thoughts. They find that they can use those new thoughts and feelings to confront present issues and concerns. Clients will also learn new skills to handle irritability, anxiety, emotional discomfort, and angry outbursts. For sleep concerns, clients develop healthy sleep patterns, reduce nightmares, and report feeling rested after waking. *Accepting new patients!
For PTSD, grief, depression, substance abuse, and anxiety I provide the effective and evidence-based treatment: “Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).” I also provide Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. For insomnia I use evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTI).
It’s a difficult time with COVID19 & political unrest. On top of that, we still deal with our issues of grief, trauma, anxiety, depression and sleep issues. You don’t have to go through it alone. Let’s work to rid ourselves of bad habits, reduce anxiety and depression, get a great night sleep, and develop the skills we will need to conquer tomorrow.
