Integrated Spirituality Group
Spiritual bypass refers to people who use spiritual ideas and practices to avoid doing the hard psychological work necessary to build an integrated, authentic self. This explains why so many people struggle with religion that over-emphasizes dogma at the expense of psychological health. Yet we need community. Isolated individuals are fragile and struggle to create big change. We must find common ground and purpose with like-minded integrated people. Our group will be a place where "two or three will gather" to support each other in our brokenness and discern our call to live out our journey of faith.
