I work with people living with mental illness from backgrounds on issues including substance abuse, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), various life concerns and any other DSM-5-related mental disorders. My theoretical orientation is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing. DBT is utilized to help people manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and develop healthy coping skills. Motivational Interviewing is an evidence-based practice.
My area of competence includes DBT, motivational interviewing, and existential approach. I have clinical experience in online counseling, clinical psychology, group therapy, substance abuse and rehabilitation counseling services.
