Dr. Paula A Freedman
Psychologist, PsyD
I can help you get off that annoying wire hamster wheel you've been running around in, watching the wheels spin faster and yet going nowhere, staying stuck. When we get caught up looking for answers and solutions, we feel hopeless. It's easy to forget that we humans are strong, brave, and resilient beings, capable of growth and change. In treatment, I will join you in facing the challenge of letting go of the search for "answers," in favor of finding freedom and fulfillment in life.
I am warm and authentic, and I treat you as the expert on yourself. I'll meet you with curiosity and compassion. My style is integrative, and I am intentional about determining the best fit for your unique needs. My philosophy is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I treat people struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, addiction, eating disorders, and body image. I also provide testing for ADHD. I'm not one to sugarcoat, nor will I minimize your challenges. I hope to help you tune into yourself, and live a rewarding and meaningful life. Web: drpaulafreedman.com Instagram: @mindful.drpaula

Learn to let go of insecurities, become a smarter consumer of media, and enjoy life without fixating on your appearance! This group uses a research-backed curriculum along with community support to teach you how to finally stop judging and criticizing your body/ appearance and treat yourself with the kindness you deserve. Great for those who are far along in recovery from an eating disorder and looking for that last piece of the puzzle. Also great for those without any eating disorder history but who struggle to handle weight fluctuations and changes to their body and appearance over time.
