I've been working with people in crisis for over 30 years, the first 5 of them in an Emergency Room, later moving to do family work on an inpatient psychiatric unit. I teach other therapists now the importance of empathy in working with people struggling with anxiety, addiction, depression and in crisis. I have a private practice in New York City and in Westchester County.
Completed 4 years Post Masters Psychoanalytic Training and 2 Years Post Masters Supervision Training. Five year training in psychodrama with addiction at the Caron Foundation. Certified in Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment. I supervise at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and completed my Doctorate in Advanced Clinical Work at Rutgers University (2015).
