My ideal client is motivated to learn basic techniques to redirect their thoughts and emotions. Most new clients have anxiety issues and often panic attacks. They also have difficulty controlling their thought and emotions. What they learn are techniques that allow them to be aware of their thoughts without being dragged into severe anxiety or depression by their habits of thought. They learn to observe their thoughts and then redirect them to give them a sense of well-being and confidence. It is simple. However, it is not easy. Most people need some coaching. I am totally devoted to helping my clients make those changes.

My primary training is in the treatment of anxiety. I have been doing Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.) since 1996. This is used to treat all sorts of traumas: childhood abuse, painful losses, and anxiety issues.

I begin therapy with a brief history of childhood, looking at both strengths and weaknesses. We then do psychological education, where you will learn the important skill of deep relaxation and clear thinking. You will be able to observe and control your thoughts. Then, we will begin the eight stages of EMDR therapy, which has proven extremely effective in overcoming PTSD and anxiety issues.
