I am a clinical psychologist specializing in Adult, Adolescent, and Couples Psychotherapy. I offer both in-office as well as Telehealth video based appointments. I've been fortunate to treat a wide range of clinical issues and disorders over the course of several decades. My clients and colleagues have observed that I possess a down-to-earth, warm, friendly therapeutic style, with a strong emphasis on change (behavioral and cognitive). In addition to my private practice, I also serve as the Director of Psychology at UCLA in the division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine.
Subjects of which I have particular speciality are in behavioral modification, emotional distress as well as relationship and/or parenting issues. I have authored books on self-worth & parenting, and enjoy working with adolescents and adults of any age dealing with a variety of challenging life issues. Many have described my style as engaging and directive.
I am proud to offer convenient appointment options, such as in-office appointments, private-video appointments, and home visits (to certain locations in the Los Angeles area).
