My expertise is in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with depression, anxiety, severe behavioral disorders, substance abuse disorders, ADHD, and trauma related disorders. Due to my extensive training in child custody evaluations, I am competent in matters related to parental competency, divorce and the effects on children.
I am psychodynamically trained and provide treatment from a trauma-informed perspective. I utilize various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, or dialectical behavior therapy. My work in the Juvenile Justice system and in the schools has provided me the opportunity to understand mental health symptoms in children.
