My ideal client can be anyone. I approach counseling from a wellness model, which means that I believe that people are inherently good, and that people tend to thrive under the right conditions. I practice attachment and trauma-informed psychotherapy. This means that I look for the roots of current problems in patterns of development. As we come to know the origins of your concerns, we can work to create change. I have also worked with complex family issues, including adoption and foster care for many years, and specialize in parenting.
My aim is to get to know you and partner with you to engage your own energy to meet your goals. I believe that healthy connections are the foundation of growth, and that with diligent effort radical transformation is possible.
