I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Dallas,Texas with 15 years of experience practicing. I work with clients who are dealing with a wide range of concerns including Depression, Anxiety/Panic, Schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, family of origin concerns & exploration, & many other psychological & behavioral challenges.
My counseling style is warm and accepting. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. Although a clinical diagnosis can provide a framework for an individual's symptomatology, every person is unique and as such I will tailor your treatment and support based on your specific needs.
My clinical perspective is psychodynamic based. I examine underlying factors & events which influence current behavior & personality.My clinical approach is integrative & evidence based utilizing cognitive-behavioral, narrative, psychodynamic, & attachment/family systems techniques. Are you always involved in chaos? Do you attract needy, unavailable people, especially men? Have you lost a sense of who you are? If so, then this may be the group for you! This group will focus on investigating and understanding the origins of dysfunctional adult behaviors and relationships. We will particularly examine shame, guilt, addiction, family of origin functioning, attachment, and trauma. Sessions are held via ZOOM. Sessions will last 90 minutes, but may run up to 120 minutes depending on participant's needs.
