Choosing to begin therapy is often a hard decision; however, when you find a psychologist who is a good fit for you, therapy often leads to many positive outcomes, including feeling calmer and thinking more clearly. My approach is to provide a collaborative, nurturing, and non-judgmental environment in which my clients can explore their feelings, thoughts, and relationships. I work with my clients to help them determine what they have control over and which strategies can help them feel better. I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology and 25 years of experience, working with individual adults, adolescents, and couples.
I can help with stress management, treatment of depression and anxiety, including generalized anxiety and PTSD, recovery from divorce, pregnancy stress, postpartum depression, grief counseling, marital conflict, other relationship challenges, and coping with medical problems, among other issues.
