Anxiety sucks. It can keep us stuck in an exhausting inner battle of fear and panic. Perhaps you have had a panic attack and worry about having another one. Or maybe you find yourself frequently worrying about your relationship with your partner. Obsessive thoughts might be keeping you up at night and disrupting your ability to focus at work. It can feel like you are in a tug-of-war battle with your fears and worries. The more you try to fight and control your anxiety, the worse it gets. The good news is, it does not have to be this way.

Through therapy, my clients are able to let go of their struggles with anxiety so they can live the life they want. They start sleeping better and living with more peace of mind. They become more present with the people they care about. And they are able to be calm and focused at work.

I personally know that transformation is possible. My own struggles with anxiety motivated me to go through my own therapy process and cultivate mindfulness, acceptance, and compassion toward myself. It would be an honor to be your therapist on your therapy journey. Call me or email me to get started today!

Values-Based Dating in the Bay Area -Support Group

Dating in the Bay Area isn't always easy. Between people's busy schedules, long work hours, and the rise of online dating, finding a genuine connection can be a challenge. In this group we will take a values-based approach to dating to help you put yourself out there authentically and openly. We will do exercises to look at dating fears and negative self-talk that get in the way of connecting authentically. We will explore attachment styles and what your true values are so that you can enjoy the journey of dating, rather than worrying about a particular outcome.

Ellis is passionate about helping people make positive changes through mindfulness. He is very knowledgeable about Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which has been proven to be effective for those struggling with anxiety and depression. Ellis is easy to talk to- he is down to earth and caring. In addition to his professional experience, he is a longtime practitioner of mindfulness meditation. Also, he created a board game called "Mindful Bus"! If you struggle with anxiety and want to try ACT, look no further.
