Dr. Denise Renye's Groups
Mindfulness Group for Sex Workers
In this group, you will engage in exercises and group dynamic work. This group runs on 6-8 week cycles and meets for 6 sessions. No mindfulness experience necessary. This group is for self-identified sex workers. The group may focus on areas of life coaching, financial organization resources, wellness and health, community building, work/life balance, and dealing with stress and burn out. I have experience working with self-identified sex workers in both individual and group settings. This group has been described as helpful both personally and professionally for the group members.
Women's Psychedelic Integration
This multimodality group is for individuals who are seeking a space to integrate their psychedelic experiences. In recent times many people are exploring their internal landscapes with the use of psychedelics. The setting may be an FDA approved site, another country, or something recreational. Whatever the venue, psychedelic experiences can be intense and challenging to integrate into the psyche and soma without consciously doing so. This group serves as a safe space. It could be a recent experience or one from years or decades ago. Modalities: somatic psychology, expressive arts, talk, pranayama.
