About
LIfe challenges us to navigate through the stressors of life including interpersonal conflicts, coping with emotional and/or physical illness, or different forms of loss. Looking for the right therapist for psychological help is most often in those times of vulnerability and distress. In my over 20 years of experience as a psychologist working with individual adults of all ages and couples I have witnessed the positive effects of therapy both in terms of reducing symptoms of emotional distress and enhancing the quality of life. Reaching out for quality psychological care is the first sign of hope.
I find great fulfillment working with couples in distress learning ways to communicate in a healthy non-judgmental manner. I integrate multiple therapeutic modalities and work with the myriad of mood disorders. I also have a Master's Degree in psychopharmacology that allows me to consult with physicians about appropriate psychotropic medications.
I was a pulpit Conservative Rabbi for several years. I work with individuals of all beliefs. I try to combine the empathy of a seasoned clergyman with the skills of a psychologist. If you need more information about myself please reach out to me. If I am not the right psychologist for you, I am most willing to refer you to one of my colleagues.
