My practice is predominantly adults and adolescents. My areas of emphasis are in anxiety/trauma, relationship issues, interpersonal growth, grief and loss, health issues and depression. I also work closely with Psychiatrists and Primary Treating Physicians which makes coordination of care efficient if medication is necessary. Trust, support, empathy, education and insight are an important emphasis in my work.
I am a contracted consultant for the 'Animal Planet' television series "Confessions; Animal Hoarders". I'm also a spokesperson for NBC affiliate (KGET-17). I am a Cancer Survivor. I was also active on the Board Of Directors of the American Cancer Society and have done over 15 years of volunteer work in the community. I have also been affiliated with CBCC.
