Sometimes friends and family, coaches and teammates are too much a part of the situation to be objective or are ill-equipped to offer care, support and/or guidance in a way that is helpful. In these situations a highly trained and experienced professional can often be of great assistance.
I am a licensed psychologist with 20 years experience in private practice. Additionally, I am near completion of certification as a mental performance consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) which will make me one of fewer than 5 Sport Psychologists in Oklahoma with this credential.
I feel privileged everyday to have the opportunity to work with people who are striving to improve their lives; whether it be with enhanced mental skills in the athletic arena, improved relationships with loved ones or teammates, or a greater sense of self-awareness, peace, and joy.
