I am a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in treating a broad range of emotional & behavioral problems via individual, couples, family & group psychotherapy. My treatment approach is integrative, most heavily influenced by evidence-based, cognitive behavioral & humanistic-existential theories. I address intersectional cultural experiences & various psychological systems that may be contributing to your presenting concerns. My style is empathic & non-judgmental & I tailor treatment to meet each individual's unique needs by working collaboratively with patients, to optimize their emotional, mental & physical well-being.
My clinical interests, & areas of expertise include grief & loss, race-based trauma, multiculturalism, women's health, chronic medical conditions, endometriosis, infertility, perinatal mood disorders, interpersonal relationships, couples/ marital functioning, trauma recovery, veterans, political activists & victims of destructive (cult) mind control.
For treatment to be effective, a strong therapeutic relationship is essential. I am dedicated to ensuring we are a good fit & offer a brief, complimentary phone consultation. If after meeting we determine I am not the best fit for your needs, I will provide other referrals.
