While I have over 22 years of experience working with children and adults with a wide spectrum of mental health and life adjustment issues, I specialize in issues relating to couples and families including pre-partnership/marital counseling, infertility, pre-and post-partum mental health, adoption home studies/post-adoptive family therapy, attachment challenges, and ending relationships in a mindful and more productive manner (especially when there is concern about children).
My experience started in inpatient child psych and moved to outpatient adult mental health. I have worked with kidney transplant (pre-and post-op) clients and their families as well as students within the higher education system. My focus further expanded to women empowerment during the pandemic when Asian women were facing anti-Asian backlash and violence.
