About
Currently not accepting new clients, current or former clients please call. I am a licensed psychologist who works with adults of all ages on issues of anxiety, stress reduction, lifestyle and health behavior change, relationship issues, and academic and work success. I collaborate with clients to explore and set goals, prepare for change, and try new ways of approaching life. I believe it is important that clients feel respected and understood in a non-judgmental and growth oriented atmosphere. I am sensitive, respectful, and interested. These qualities help clients feel understood and supported in their unique change process.
I am experienced in a variety of well studied effective techniques and I tailor therapy to each individual's unique needs, goals, and preferences. Together we will carefully explore your hopes, potential obstacles, and strengths and then develop a range of treatment options based on psychological research and professional experience.
In addition to being a therapist, I was a college psychology professor for many years. I am experienced in collaborating with students to plan for successful academic experiences. I can help you or your child with college related education planning and goals, motivation, and learning strategies and challenges.
