As a Certified Imago Therapist I enable each partner to be heard and understood so the needs of each can be met. I am also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy which, like Imago, seeks to help couples restore comfort and positive excitement to relationships which have "gotten offtrack." I have led many marriage enrichment workshops and premarital seminars which focus on communication, conflict resolution, and improving intimacy in couple relationships.
I am a Presbyterian minister with years of pastoral experience and am comfortable dealing with spiritual issues if clients wish to do so. Most of my couple sessions run 75 to 90 minutes (at no extra charge), to allow adequate time to work through issues.
