Changing times! Changing circumstances! Or just too much of the same old everything! Too many things to manage and now overthinking! How do I find a way out of this? What are the resources that will untangle the clutter of thoughts and emotions that take over? 40 plus years of experience building skills to address all of that. Mindfulness, CBT and EMDR training give me a wide range of resources to help untangle a lot of stuff!
Practicing in Vermont has provided me with a wide range of experience with all age groups and with people who struggle with anxiety, panic, and trauma. I have oriented my practice to address these issues. I am trained in EMDR a therapy very effective with alleviating negative thinking and healing the pain. I also am trained in couples therapy.
I see my role as being a resource builder, someone with a wide range of experience who listens, learns and validates the individual and helps transform your experience into wisdom and strength. It takes courage to share and reflect your story, to feel authentic and face the obstacles to forge your truth.
