Endurance: The ability to persist through an unpleasant process or situation without giving way. I believe we all have an innate capacity to endure and learn from what life brings our way. Whether the challenges stem from symptoms of depression, anxiety, traumatic events, or other life challenges, I enjoy helping others better understand and equip themselves to manage life's ups and downs. As a clinician, my approached focuses on helping clients uncover their potential to heal by combining evidence based practices with education and personal strengths to help the client meet their goals.
I take a humanistic approach to therapy by combining interventions such as Internal Family Systems and Psychodynamic Therapy with cognitive tools to help the client understand their own mental processes. I am especially interested in helping individuals who experience chronic pain and the myriad of issues that accompany living with pain.
In life's harder moments we can all benefit from extra support, reflection, and guidance. It is my goal as a clinical social worker to provide others with a space that allows for these elements to foster healing and growth.
