These emotions can be overwhelming, but you are not alone, and I can help. I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience. I received my Master’s degree in social work from Florida State University and am licensed since 1993. I provide therapy for adolescents, adults, and couples. I specialize in treating mood disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, substance abuse and other addictions, and compulsive behaviors.
I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment by encouraging you to explore the past and address any trauma, which may impact the present, or I may assist you in identifying your present thoughts and behaviors that may be reducing your self-esteem
My passion is to be part of your healing process. I will collaborate with you to develop your individual treatment plan. I will use a variety of treatment approaches, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-based Brief focus treatment. I have observed positive and empowering change utilizing these therapies.
