I specialize in couples therapy. Currently, I am accepting new clients for 2 ¼ day private couple intensives, arranged through Couples Therapy, Inc. (CTI) of Massachusetts. The intensive approach allows concentrated attention on one couple, unhindered by the constraints of hourly sessions. Preceded by the Big Big Book—a thorough intake process—a couple enters the counseling process known. The extended format then provides time to teach and apply relationship tools to issues most important to a couple.
I utilize Gottman Method Couples Therapy and am specialty trained by The Gottman Institute in affair recovery. Also informing my approach are Attachment Theory, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and certification in Enneagram coaching.
Drawing from my own 40 year marriage, and from careers in social work, ministry, enneagram coaching, and licensed professional counseling, I've come to see the overlap in what brings about harmonious relationships, and would love to share these things with you.
