I am a licensed professional counselor with 20+ years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in individual and group settings. My specialties include trauma issues, PTSD, anxiety, grief and loss. Trauma is not specific to violence but results from experiences such as death of family members/friends, chronic and acute illness, animal attacks, natural disasters, dealing with suicide, separation from parents, divorce, domestic violence and war. I work with active duty military, veterans and first responders and their families, engaging EMDR, Accelerated resolution therapy (ART) and Brain Spotting.
My treatment plan is designed to diminish distress and to facilitate a feeling of safety. Through a variety of treatment approaches; IFS, EMDR, ART, Brain Spotting, sandtray therapy, expressive arts and psychotherapy, we will work together to strengthen your mind, body and spirit so that you can continue on your path towards a more fulfilling life.
I am a member in good standing with the American Counseling Association, International association of Trauma Professionals (CCTP), National Trauma Grief and Loss Institute, Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS)and EMDRIA.

Shamrock Reins and its special horses foster positive life-changing experineces for Vetrans, Active Duty and Reserve Servise members, first responder, their families and families of our fallen heroes by assiting with recovery and by offering comfort and knindness in a safe environment. Military personnel return home post deployment with various injuries both physical and emotional. Horses have a unique sense and often know what therapeutic aproach is needed for each person. As a result horses help a person recognize his/her behaviors without confrontation. Programs ; pre-deployment, post deployment, MST and grief/ loss and horsemanship. NO cost for programs.
