I am Dorothy Myers, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 27 years of experience providing substance abuse, mental health, and dual-diagnosis counseling to a culturally diverse group of adults and adolescents. I specialize in treating substance abuse, medication-assisted treatment, serious mental illness, depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, stress, relationship issues, and anger. I completed my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with a sub-specialty in Marital and Family Therapy at Kutztown University.
I utilize an eclectic approach that combines aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy (PCT), psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy (SFT), family systems theory, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.
