I have experience working with people across the life span. I have worked in both inpatient and out patient settings. I have worked with a variety of different diagnoses including ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, and Substance Abuse. I love meeting new people and learning how I can help them achieve their goals. I believe the therapist and client are partners in therapeutic process
My approach to therapy is a combination of different counseling techniques. First and foremost, I use a person-centered therapy approach. Because I believe the client's opinions and values are important. I also use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to help the clients process and coup with their emotions.
I believe in a strengths approach. Because every client is capable of overcoming any adversity. I'm just a guide to help them on their journey.
