Therapy can be a resource for some of the challenges and problems we may encounter in our lives. We may find ourselves speeding along with the busyness of life, only to find that we are unhappy, worried, or chronically dissatisfied overall. Therapy can also be a conversation to find new ways out of some "stuckness" within a problem. We may also be aware of some distress in our most important relationships. In this case, therapy provides the opportunity to explore and practice new ways of communicating and acting that will support positive changes and improve one's experience in living.
As a family therapist, I work with individuals, couples and families to resolve conflict, disagreements and build a more satisfying experience, both individually and in our most important relationships. The goal is to assist clients in creating a life that is rewarding and authentically their own.
My approach to healing is to bring the resources I have acquired in my 36 years of experience in positive therapy approaches to one's circumstances, so that new ways of being and acting can be thoughtfully and respectfully considered and practiced in a safe, encouraging manner.
