Individual and couples therapy With compassion and skills gained from over 40 years of professional experience, mindfulness-training and certifications and trainings in non-dual healing, Imago therapy, Real Dialogue, and poetic medicine, I provide empathetic support, deep listening and insights, constructive feedback, and effective coping and communication skills to help clients address current life challenges and long-standing inner and outer conflicts.
In a safe, supportive atmosphere, I offer a personalized approach to address concerns and personal growth. We explore current stress, anxiety, and/or depression, how the past may be influencing the present, and how inner conflict may be impacting the outer conflict. Coping, communication, insight skills and homework to increase effectiveness of therapy are offered.
I believe the most satisfying and happy relationships are based on mutual respect, kindness, trust, vulnerability without fear of blame/shame, deep listening, commitment to knowing oneself. Challenges, (loss of job, illness), lost sense of connection, disillusionment, feeling unseen, bring couples to therapy to learn skills to listen and love again.
