I am Dorian Turner, LCSW, I provide telemental health services in Illinois, Florida, Vermont, and Texas. I work well with millennials and young adults experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and adults with serious mental Illnesses. I provide a space free of judgment and shame. Through individual therapy, I help my clients gain a greater awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and develop healthy coping techniques for maladaptive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
I strive to help my clients help themselves in identifying their current strengths while also working together to add to their toolkit. My go-to approaches include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and mindfulness using a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens.
