I believe that all people have innate skills and strengths and have the potential to live rich and meaningful lives but sometimes get stuck in patterns and behaviors that interfere with their ability to grow. I believe psychotherapy is an important tool to help people discover their natural ability to heal, to love and to live healthy and fulfilling lives. Our fast-paced and demanding lives can create uncomfortable stressors in individuals and families. My time with each client provides an opportunity for calm and reflection in challenging and stressful lives.
I have a warm, non-judgmental approach that provides an opportunity to address short and long terms goals, crisis situations, and long-term underlying issues. I work to help individuals better understand themselves, and families each other.
I have been trained in the Expressive Arts and bring art into sessions with both children and adults to add insight and deepen self-observation.
