For many years, my clients have primarily been individuals, groups, and families coming out of abusive and sometimes violent relationships and addiction. Although that was the original primary focus, most also struggled with accompanying factors like depression, anxiety, and other serious mental health diagnoses. My clinical focus has recently shifted to a more community-based population, and I have found this work incredibly rewarding. I enjoy working with additional needs such as grief, prenatal and postpartum depression, and abandonment trauma, to name a few.
I specialize in supporting individuals who are suddenly coming out of relationships or feeling “abandoned,” often triggering past abandonment trauma. This can stem from family instability, separation, death, family substance abuse, emotional unavailability, childhood neglect, broken relationships or friendships, fear of loneliness, and more.
