My treatment approach is a combination of cognitive-behavior, solution-focused, and family systems. My goal is to bring hope to your situation and help you construct positive changes in your life's journey.
I ask my clients the "miracle question" and that is "if there were a miracle in your life, what would be different?" From this we create goals. This sets the stage for building positive changes. Making small positive changes in one's life can lead to big changes over time.
I sometimes I work with the entire family to improve family functioning. With children, I may use Expressive Art Therapies, including Jungian Sand Play, to help them express their thoughts and feelings.
