I enjoy working with young adults who are in the transition to adulthood, adult women and men who are navigating middle age, and couples looking for help with relationship challenges and strengthening their relationship. I regularly work with people looking to strengthen their inner voice, develop boundaries, improve personal confidence, decrease anxiety, and take ownership of their life. I am certified in Prepare/Enrich premarital and marital assessment and counseling and offer this to interested couples.
I draw from Bowen's family theory to work on decreasing anxiety and developing a strong self, Gottman method with couples to develop a strong relational base, and internal family systems theory. I also regularly use DBT to help clients navigate major life questions, intra and interpersonal struggles, and to manage anxiety and depression.
It can be a hard and scary thing to reach out for help. My aim is to create a welcoming and kind environment that allows us to work together to define your goals and work toward the change and growth you are hoping for.
