In addition, Donovan specializes in treating personality disorders, having been trained in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), schema therapy, transference-focused psychotherapy, self-psychology and supportive therapy. He prefers an integrative approach, drawing from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy and DBT when clinically indicated.
