Hello and welcome! I am Donnah Clark, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and supervisor (LPCC-S) and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC). I love meeting new people and helping them reach their goals. My approach to counseling is collaborative, straightforward, friendly, and nonjudgmental so that we can work together to create a holistic plan of action. I use a variety of techniques from different theoretical frameworks to find an individualized approach to meet a specific need or goal.
I primarily use cognitive behavior therapy, EMDR, DBT modalities and utilize motivational interviewing and person-centered principles in every session. I use a variety of screeners to track symptoms in addition to patient feedback to inform our sessions and progress.
I take pride in creating a warm and safe space for patients to explore their thoughts, feelings, concerns, and experiences. The therapeutic process will be significantly challenged if you cannot trust your provider.
