Whether you are struggling with trauma, difficult relationships, or general dissatisfaction, therapy can help you learn to respond to challenges more productively and with improved flexibility. Looking at one's behaviors and relationships is challenging, but sharing that exploration with a compassionate person can be transformational. My goal is to create a non-judgmental, supportive environment where we can look at your past and present to understand why you might be responding to life in ways that are less than satisfying. We can then focus on how you can pursue your goals, have more intimacy, and feel more vital.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Having a teaching background, I enjoy working with children ages 6 and up. I also am a member of the Association of Family Conciliation Courts and enjoy working with families in transition.
For several years I worked in agencies and clinics where I helped people struggling with loss, trauma, and addictive behaviors. I look forward to talking with you to see if I could help you to let go and move forward in your life!
