I am delighted to be in private practice in West Hollywood. In addition to this work, I am a primary therapist in agencies where I treat clients with co-occurring substance abuse, food and sex addictions. My training includes work at Being Alive, an HIV/AIDS service organization, helping clients heal from chemical dependence, trauma, and co-occurring health challenges using LGBT Affirmative Therapy. During my time as an intern, I worked at Promises Malibu, Breathe Life Healing Centers, Refuge Recovery Centers and the Narrative Counseling Center. I have a Masters in Psychology with an LGBT Specialization from Antioch University.
LGBT Affirmative Therapy celebrates the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer experience and addresses the negative consequences of growing up in a culture that suppresses and fears that experience. Is through the LGBT-Affirmative prism that I use integrated, trauma-informed modalities to help people of all expressions find healing and hope.
